Robots are a Hot Topic for kids! I went to the Library and had a hard time finding a book. Tons and tons of the Robot books were checked out and its is no surprise Robots are cool and fun. People have been making movies about them for years and I think it is safe to say that adults like robots just as much as kids do!
Here is a super cute video I posted before hand on my Facebook page to get kids excited for lesson coming up.
Of Course when the kids walked in I had to greet them in my Robotic voice and Robot Mask!
Each student then received their masks!
Here are a few books I recommend. We read Robot Drawing Book by Ralph Masiello
We read a story out of this book. This is an early Reader Chapter book. Monkey and Robot by Peter Catalanotto This kids loved the story in here!
Here is our still life to add inspiration and FUN!
Children drew the Robots in with a sharpie then used watercolor to fill in color.
